Meet the Founder
Steve Garson is the Founder and President of Better Cost Control. His experience in the energy procurement field began with certification by American Association of Energy Engineers. Since founding the company in 2001, Steve has led project teams that have saved Better Cost Control clients millions of dollars. Prior to founding BCC, Steve held a variety of senior finance and operating roles at companies ranging in size from $1.5 billion in revenues to complete start-ups. Steve was the VP of Marketing and Engineering for Semprio, Inc., a Boston based business-buying group that aggregated the buying power of companies to obtain better pricing for products and services. This experience made it clear to him that business procurement people need focused expertise to assist them to make the best decisions when it comes to complex purchases like energy and telecommunications. Steve takes pride in being reachable by customers and offering incomparable customer service to maintain customers for the long term. Those values have, and will always reflect upon the entire company.
